How old are the children you care for at Rhyme Tyme?
We care for children as young as 6 weeks old, up through 12 years of age.
How do I get my child ready for a child care program?
It is important to talk to your child about this exciting new adventure they'll be embarking on here at Rhyme Tyme. We also suggest dropping your child off for a few hours before their first full day. On this day they can meet their teachers, play with their peers, and they will be assured when you pick them up after a few hours.
What are the qualifications of the teachers at Rhyme Tyme?
Our employees at Rhyme Tyme are well qualified and well experienced. All staff are CPR and First Aid certified, and there is always someone on site who is MAT certified. All of our employees receive at least 30 hours of training per licensing period, which keeps everyone up to date, no matter what their experience.

Does Rhyme Tyme care for children with special needs?
Each child is unique, and children with special needs doubly so. We evaluate each child on a case-to-case basis. After talking with you about the needs specific to your child, we can decide together whether Rhyme Tyme will be the appropriate fit for your child.
You are more than welcome to call and check on your child during the day - as many times as you would like! You are also more than welcome to come to the center to check on your child. We have an open door policy for all parents.
Our lunch menu follows New York State nutritional guidelines, and a copy of our current lunch menu can be found on our lunch menu page.
Please let us know if your child is allergic to anything so we can make other arrangements. We serve breakfast to those that arrive before 7:30am. We also provide a morning and afternoon snack along with our nutritional lunches.
Every child is different - therefore every disciplinary issue is handled according to each childs develoment and individual growth. We feel that every child is responsible for his/her own actions and wil reap the positive or negative consequences of their own actions.
